<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:16.0pt">On Tuesday October 25<sup>th</sup> during the day someone broke into Our lady of Lourdes Church in Colusa. The person caught on camera was identified by law enforcement as a homeless man from the area. He
was in the church causing damage for over 45 minutes. The items that will need to be replaced or repaired … Tabernacle, Alter, Ambo, Baptism Font, Piano & Piano Bench, Alter cloths, AC/heater control panel, Credence Table, Vases, Internet modem, statues, Holy
Water Bucket, Candle holders, Thurifer, Crucifixes, Liturgy books, Ciborium, Ambry & Lecterns. Many of these items will need replacement especially the Tabernacle, Alter & Baptism Font. Once I receive information on the total amount of damages done, I will
be sure to inform everyone. I do not know what type of insurance they have through Catholic Mutual.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:16.0pt">Preliminary estimate of damages is well in excess of $100,000</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:16.0pt">His Excellency Bishop Soto did go to the church the following day & did a service of penance & reparation.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:16.0pt">The Parish populous is small and it is in a rural farming community where most of its Parishioners are low income and the Parish struggles financially.
