So, here are the things that have locks: three rolling cabinets in the back room, two have the same key with number 809 the other cabinet with 810 plus a couple of keys that were cut for it with no numbers. The file cabinet, I know there were only two distributed; the recording secretary has one and the second I think went to the financial secretary (correct me if I'm wrong). The last key is to the Knights cabinet in the Social Hall to check the membership drop box, number 655. I know I have one but I don't remember who has the other one. My plan is to make a key fob for each position that can be passed to the next knight as they move through the chairs. Once we know who has what keys to what lock we can devise a plan, with the appropriate amount of redundancy, to make sure if one or two vital officers are not present we can still access locked cabinets. Brothers, does this sound like a workable plan, please tell me if it doesn't. Fr. George passed away today (8/18/2016) he was a active priest in the Bay Area and retired to Pine Grove in Amador County. For more than 10 years he has served as a priest in the churchs in Amador County and served as Chaplin of C-1849 for many years as well. Although he transfered his 3rd degree membership to C-1849 he never transferred his Assembly 53 in the South Bay Area to Amembly 3345 in Placerville. Fr. George was very well loved and respected.
