Brother Mike Slusher,
As you are the Faithful Navigator of the Assembly that services the membership of the Amador Council,
I need to put this request out to you to see if the Color Corps can assist in this situation.
Fr. George passed away today (8/18/2016) he was a active priest in the Bay Area and retired to Pine Grove
in Amador County. For more than 10 years he has served as a priest in the churchs in Amador County and
served as Chaplin of C-1849 for many years as well.
Although he transfered his 3rd degree membership to C-1849 he never transferred his Assembly 53 in the
South Bay Area to Amembly 3345 in Placerville.
Fr. George was very well loved and respected. I will be out of the State for the next 2 weeks starting on
Saturday, can you make contact with their Grand Knight or Nick listed below for more information on
services, etc.

Worthy District Deputy and Brother Officers,
To the best of my recollection, Fr. George Thomas is a Fourth Degree Knight. As such there are protocols that ought to be followed, one of which is the accompanying of his body from Amador to San Francisco by a Color Guard and the change of guard there to the local assembly.
Please look into this, Brother Dave and any 4th Degree Officer.
Fraternally,
Nicholas A. Ragusano
Advocate
Amador County Council 1849
