[Officers] Scholarship

Worthy Officers,

The Scholarship Committee held its meeting to choose a recipient for our annual scholarship award.  The Committee unanimously chose an applicant (name will not be announced until award is presented).  However, the second applicant was equally deemed awardable.  On behalf of the Committee, I’m making this proposal: We award the first one as normal.  We announce to the second person that an award is also pending.  We would need to make a motion at the May meeting to the effect that a second $1000 scholarship be awarded.  Once seconded, it would be tabled until the June meeting and passed then.  The award would then be presented.

Let me know asap if this seems to be what is wanted by the Officers so I can let the school know.
